How does Lighthouse secure its data?

Brief overview about the security of our data and data back-up processes.

Lighthouse encrypts its data using SSL. Our encryption strength is RSA 2048-bit, and we use AWS Certification Manager to document key processes. All keys are stored in 1Password and AWS Certificate Manager to protect access to our databases. We have automated rolling database backups - databases are backed up 7 times daily, 4 times weekly, and 2 times monthly. We only leverage leading SaaS infrastructure (e.g. AWS, IBM Compose, MongoDB) and leverage a host of monitoring solutions to continuously monitor security and uptime (PagerDuty, Librato, Amazon CloudWatch).

For more information on the details of our data & security please feel free to send all questions to support@lighthouseio.
