How to quickly print QR codes directly to standard label paper

You can print new QR Codes from a regular printer using adhesive paper

 - These are the services we use onlinelabels.com - we recommend the 1"x1" SC weatherproof matte for inkjet or laserjet

 1. Log-in at https://app.lighthouse.io

 2. Navigate to Setup

 3. Click on Zones

 4. Select QR Codes

 5. Filter by Location or Zone to Print

 6. Click "Print Codes"

 7. Print PDF to standard label paper

Important Note: the entire bar code must be within the label sticker for scanning codes. Zoom and printer alignment issues can impact the printing of QR codes onto the sticker paper, resulting in a QR code being "cut off". When you print PDF, make sure the settings are as follows:

  • Layout: Portrait
  • Paper size: Letter
  • Margins: Default
  • Scale: 100

Once the codes, are printed, QR Labels are a 2nd sheet of paper that allows you to see the corresponding  location and code name as you are deploying them onsite. To print the Labels:

  1. From your existing Filter, select "Print Labels"
  2. Print to PDF (note: special label paper is NOT required)

PDF will look similar to this:
